So often when marriage is in the news it’s political or scandal or bad news. So I’m very excited to be able to highlight tomorrow night a couple that is helping couples not only get and stay married but be nourished and enriched by the experience of others as well. Witness to Love uses marriage mentoring as its model and is not only successful but catching on around the country, having been started by Mary-Rose and Ryan Verret in a parish in rural Louisiana. When I heard they’d be in the D.C. area doing some training, I wanted to make sure the National Review Institute co-sponsored a session with them at the Catholic Information Center, just a few blocks from the White House. We’re doing that Thursday night at 6 P.M. Please join us if you’re able! If you are not in the D.C. area, you can watch via Facebook Live – available on the Catholic Information Center’s page and I’ll tweet the link out just before we begin, too.
